ABOUT ASHLEY ALKEMA
I am a behavioral health clinician and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over twelve years of experience across insurance-based services, public education systems, trauma recovery programs, and crisis intervention settings. My work spans home, school, community, and telehealth environments, where I have led multidisciplinary collaboration, supervised clinicians, and supported children, adolescents, and families navigating complex behavioral and psychosocial needs.I am currently completing my Master of Social Work at the University of Kentucky, expanding my practice into trauma-informed, psychodynamic, humanistic, and ecosystemic clinical frameworks. My graduate training includes biopsychosocial assessment, diagnostic formulation under supervision, treatment planning, suicide risk assessment, crisis stabilization, and facilitation of individual and group-based interventions within recovery-oriented settings.Throughout my career, I have maintained a strong commitment to ethical practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and culturally responsive care. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, relational stress, and life transitions. My approach integrates behavioral science with trauma-informed, strengths-based therapy, creating collaborative and psychologically safe environments where clients and teams can experience meaningful, sustainable growth.I am especially interested in integrated behavioral health models that bridge clinical social work, behavioral analysis, and collaborative healthcare systems to improve access, coordination, and quality of care.
