ABOUT ASHLEIGH U.

I’m a confident generalist with a partiality for operations and strategy. I am passionate about brand development, community building and bringing the best out of people.Officially, I help to ensure the cogs move more efficiently within an operation. Unofficially, I’m unafraid of spinning plates, fighting fires, forging partnerships and indulging in my interest for disruptive technology. I’m serious about growth but don’t take myself too seriously. I’m dedicated to self-development and am an advocate for a ‘no-limits’ mindset.During my time with several leading London-based enterprises I nurtured business development, oversaw general operations and headed efforts to expand into new markets. These roles helped me to hone my leadership skills while restructuring businesses involved with technology, property, investment, construction and media.The connections I’ve formed over the past decade, both within the tech industry and the wider world of business, have proven invaluable.Outside of my work, my other commitment is in dedicating a portion of time aside each month for charitable work. Having experienced bereavement first-hand, I volunteer with a leading baby-loss charity to provide support for parents who find themselves similarly stricken. My duties include facilitating a monthly support group and speaking at training & professional development sessions. I believe we all have it in us to make a difference in someone else’s life.
