Ashleigh works as a Legal Assistant in the Financial Services Department, solely on the RL250 PPI Project. Her duties include working closely with the Operational Manager to ensure a smooth operation of the project. In particular, Ashleigh is responsible for managing a large number of PPI case allocations received from the Bank, allocating to fee earners, ensuring they have relevant documentation to complete the task at hand. Corresponding with the Bank each day about any missing documents or updates on case progression. It is also Ashleigh\'s responsibility to identify non-PPI an urgent cases, ensuring that they are allocated promptly and to a fee earner with relevant or more experience. Each week she will run capacity reports which enables her and all supervisors to have visibility on case numbers across the team. This helps when allocating new cases to fee earners and analysing capacity. Each week Ashleigh will work with case handlers to ensure that they update the supervision spreadsheet so that she can ensure each document is allocated a supervisor and alerted to the fact. Each month Ashleigh will work on the 7 MI reports for the Bank. Working with case handlers to get all of their cases up-to-date and in order. Prior to this Ashleigh worked as a Legal PA in the Financial Services Department, assisting 4 Associates of all levels and 3 Paralegals. Duties included drafting email to the client, taking messages and dealing with queries on behalf of the associate. Ashleigh was also responsible for large amounts of monthly billing for some of the teams largest clients. Aside from her daily duties Ashleigh is also a part of the Amicus group, reviewing cases for inmates who have been charged with Murder 1 in Florida, USA and also apart of the VERVE network, taking part in a panel discussions and is also the Black Ethicity sub-strand champion. This group helps to raise awareness and increase diversity and inclusion within the business.
