ABOUT ASHLEIGH BLERSCH
I am a mission-driven public health professional with deep commitment to advancing health equity and a special interest in the intersection of health and human rights, specifically pertaining to women\'s health and wellness. I have experience spanning across infectious disease epidemiology and surveillance, global health programming, and the development and implementation of public health research. I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree focused in global health development with a specialization in emergency preparedness and humanitarian assistance. Since 2016, I\'ve worked both domestically and abroad, contributing to women\'s health research in Laos, international health policy dissemination in Switzerland, COVID-19 response in Virginia, refugee and migrant community wellness programs in Florida, and more. Skilled in administrative and organizational support, data quality assurance, community outreach and education, mixed-methods research design and implementation, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and technical report writing and editing.
