ABOUT ASHLEE OSCEOLA
While working towards my bachelor\'s degrees in both Criminology and Political Science at Florida State University, I have developed professionally and intellectually. In both majors, I have conducted projects and research that have allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of society and our government. Simultaneously, I have learned skills such as public speaking and working as a team to better our community. Throughout my time here at Florida State University, I have stepped into new positions in order to further my personal and professional development- In 2019 I was invited to become a member of the Phi Eta Sigma honor society that recognizes students with high academic achievement-In 2020 I was selected to join the Community Event Planning Team for the Navigators Christian Ministry-In January 2022, I was elected Kappa Kappa Gamma\'s Panhellenic Delegate. As Panhellenic Delegate I serve as a liaison for the 200 members in my chapter and the Panhellenic community-In January 2022 I began a full-time Internship at the Office Of the Public Defender. As an investigative intern, my duties include conducting interviews with clients and their families, submitting medical releases to the jail and medical centers, and accompanying investigators on fieldwork-During my summer break in 2022 I had the unique opportunity to intern as an undergrad for the Honorable Chief Judge at the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. These roles have allowed me to experience negotiation, public speaking, event planning, and teamwork. While balancing my involvement, I have remained organized and retained a cumulative 3.8 GPA. I am a determined, hardworking, and dependable asset to a team. I hope to continue my journey in the Legal field. I am currently looking for full time opportunities that will further shape me as an individual and guide me in the future.
