About Ashlee Jahnke
I am currently working as a Research Scientist in the lab of Dr. Karen Wooley at Texas A&M University. I started my postdoc working on a collaborative project with Dow Electronic Materials and have now transitioned into work on degradable, sugar-based polycarbonates. My focus is the translation of the technology to a commercially viable consumer product. I serve as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Teysha Technologies and as Vice President of Sugar Plastics, LLC. My PhD work with Dr. Dwight Seferos at The University of Toronto focused on the development of polytellurophenes, an understudied class of conjugated polymers. I gained experience in synthesis, characterization, and organic electronic device fabrication.
