   I had the opportunity to observe and participate in a wide range of legal work that deepened my understanding of how a law office functions on a day-to-day basis. In addition to handling front-desk responsibilities: welcoming clients and managing intake forms, I worked closely with attorneys and paralegals on tasks that exposed me to the substantive side of legal practice. I observed depositions, client consultations, and court hearings, where I gained valuable exposure to litigation procedures, case strategy, and the formalities of courtroom conduct. I learned how attorneys build arguments, respond to opposing counsel, and advise clients in real time. I also reviewed legal documents such as contracts, case files, and internal memos, familiarizing myself with legal terminology, formatting, and how to identify key clauses and potential areas of concern. I became increasingly comfortable navigating confidential information and understanding how corporate firms manage client relationships, prepare for litigation, and handle complex transactions. Being trusted to observe high-level legal discussions and review real case materials gave me a front-row seat to the precision, critical thinking, and communication skills required in this field.
