My role is to maximise unitholders return through acquisition of road assets, refinancing of existing debt to lower cost of capital, optimise surplus cash deployment, risk management and managing relationships with investors and Board. During FY23, led the acquisition of a 141 Km long four lane toll asset located in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This required price discovery, Board approval, unit holders approval, due diligences and fund raising. Improved and simplified capital structure of SPVs to reduce cost and comply with SEBI guidelines. Identified tax planning opportunities allowing for higher distribution. Mentoring and guiding the F&A Team for development and growth.Built systems and processes to significantly improve financial controls and period closing processes leading to higher productivity. Quarterly reporting to the Board providing insightful information for securing decisions and approvals.
