ABOUT ASHISH CHOPRA
I am a Front-End & UX Engineer with academic and industry experience plus a history in product development (Software Engineering).I have ~3 years of industry experience in Strategic Prototyping & design research at Ericsson R&D —working closely with the product strategy team, architects, and R&D leadership to conduct studies(with a fast turnaround cycle) on product design strategies and iteratively building working proof-of-concept in Angular, React, Java to achieve stakeholders\' buy-in for upcoming release roadmap. Prior to this, I have 4.5 years of experience in product development (Front-End)—led and built production-grade web apps, design systems, UI SDKs, JS libraries, and frameworks. My open-source project has downloads.I recently graduated from UBC with a master\'s in Computer Science and a specialization in HCI. I conducted large-sized mixed-methods HCI research at UBC which received Impact Recognition at CSCW 2021.
