About I work at the intersection of philanthropy, public systems, and non-profit capacity building, with over 15+ years of experience. My work spans grant-making, government and public sector advisory, and large-scale program design, with a focus on strengthening institutions to deliver sustainable and equitable outcomes. At the Azim Premji Foundation, I led foundational learning (FLN) interventions across government schools, improving learning outcomes for children and teachers. I established and scaled district operations in Bageshwar, building institutional trust with the public education system and enabling system-wide adoption. At the state level, I coordinated the Early Language & Early Maths (EL-EM) initiative, aligning strategy with field realities and enabling cross-district learning systems. At Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives, I managed a ₹100 Cr+ grant portfolio across 85+ civil society organisations, supporting work across livelihoods, youth development, local democracy, and constitutional values. I led the full grant-making lifecycle—from pipeline development and organisational due diligence to proposal writing, monitoring, and learning—while working closely with organisations to strengthen governance, financial sustainability, and program effectiveness. In my consulting work with KPMG (Government & Public Services), I advise state governments on education system transformation, including curriculum reform, institutional design, and service delivery models such as school–Anganwadi co-location and setting up new Model Schools. I am particularly interested in how philanthropy can enable organisations to become more effective, resilient, and scalable, and how systems thinking can align policy, institutions, and implementation for long-term impact.
