As a Mainframe Consultant at TD Securities, I leverage my 14 years of IT experience and ASDA certification to deliver high-quality solutions for complex and critical mainframe systems. I have worked with various clients across banking, life insurance, and logistics domains, such as Standard Life, Zurich Financial Services, BoFA, HSBC, Wells Fargo, and DSV, providing them with customized and cost-effective mainframe solutions that meet their business needs and goals. I have a deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the software testing life cycle (STLC), and I am familiar with various life cycle models, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Spiral, and V-model. I have been involved in designing, developing, testing, and supporting mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, XML, Oracle, and various tools, such as In-Sync, File-Aid, Endevor, FA-DB2, Platinum, SPUFI, SQL, AQT, QMF, and Xpediter. I have also performed peer code reviews, people management, performance management, management reporting, and interview conducting. I am adept at interacting with clients, understanding, analyzing, and evaluating their requirements, information system needs, and budgeting for mainframe systems. I have also provided maintenance and production support to various client environments and releases, as per SLA timelines and severity/priority levels. I am passionate about mainframe technology and always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
