I feel \"Safety and Fire\" by heart rather than mind. If a safety officer succeeds in shaping the safety culture of an organisation in such a way that he need not have to scold anyone for doing a work in safe manner, then only his duty is supposed to be accomplished. And I look myself in this category.Objective:To look out for a position, where I will be a valuable team member (or a team leader) by, contributing with quality and innovative ideas in “Safety, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting”. Conduction of mock fire drills and Emergency Response Drills. Conduction of training of as per the Oil Industry Safety Directorate. Up keeping of active fire fighting equipments like hydrant line, monitors, HVLRs, Fire engines, Fire hoses, portable and wheeled fire extinguishers, sprinklers, foam pourers, etc. Up keeping of passive fire protections like dyke wall, fire break wall, fire resistant cables, overspill protection devices, safety tripping in Fire engines and DGs, PV valves. Implementation of permit to work system. Fire protection and emergency services like Emergency Shut Downs, Manual Call points, fire siren, etc. Behavior based Safety (BBS) implementation at site. Ensuring safety of floating roof, fixed roof and underground oil tanks. Responsibility of ensuring proper surveillance in whole plant. Ensuring proper functioning of safety devices in automated systems like safety programmable logic controllers, surge protection units, alarms, etc. Designing of evacuation routes and Emergency evacuation response analysis as per the NFPA and building fire.
