ABOUT ASHISH MINJ

Ashish holds 13+ years of work experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Sharing, Data Issue Management, Project Management, Data and Business Process Consulting in diverse sectors like Banking and Finance, Food and Beverages, IT, Manufacturing and Energy. Being a certified Project Management Professional and Six – Sigma Green Belt, he has expertise in managing and delivering solutions to businesses to improve and automate their processes and carry out operations efficiently.Ashish is currently working as a Senior Manager in Data Governance for CIBC Bank, Canada. In this techno-functional role, he has worked on project planning and delivery and is also the enterprise lead for Metadata and Data Quality Management and has built data governance policies, standards and processes for identifying critical data elements, creating data dictionary, and onboarding businesses to Microsoft Purview (enterprise\'s tool for data governance).Ashish worked as a Senior Manager for Jubilant FoodWorks Limited. In this position, he was leading the PMO setup for Strategic Expansion of all the brands of the company. This involved working across 10+ cross-functional teams for process streamlining and standardization to reduce turn-around-time for new store opening. He also led creation of firm\'s expansion plan for FY22-23 with emphasis on detailed planning and execution schedule, in-line with firm\'s cost and manpower estimates.Previously, Ashish was working as a Senior Consultant in SAP service line for Deloitte USI. In this position, he was providing functional consulting expertise integrated with project management support with emphasis on SAP modules – Master Data Governance (MDG) and Material Master (MM) on projects following Hybrid – Agile methodology.Previously, Ashish was working in Project Management and Operations domain across manufacturing sectors while building competence in Schedule Planning, Resource Allocation, Risk Assessment and Quality Management. Ashish worked with SAIL as a Junior Manager and over-looked end-to-end project delivery and managed a team of 25 non-executive employees. Prior to this, he worked with Vedanta Aluminium Limited as an Assistant Manager and was responsible for maintaining and optimizing operational efficiency of the plant.Ashish holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management with specialization in Operations Management and a Bachelors degree in Technology in Power Engineering from National Power Training Institute.
