I am an Oracle Database Administrator at Infosys where I manage and administer multiple production and non-production databases on Red Hat Linux. I have been working in this role since May 2020, after graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering from LNCT Group of Colleges in June 2019.As an Oracle DBA, I have gained valuable experience in installing and configuring Oracle database versions from 10g to 19c, setting up and maintaining Oracle Data Guard with HA service for disaster recovery, upgrading Oracle DBs to the latest version, and applying quarterly patches. I have also worked on RAC installation and configuration, Patching,Upgradation,OCI upgrade,RAC node addition and deletion, server build, DR build, and disk addition. I have used tools such as AWR, ADDM, Exp/Imp, and data pump to monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of the applications and databases. I have also supported the database end-users by creating users, granting privileges, resetting passwords, and resolving issues. I have contributed to the database health and capacity planning by preparing monthly reports and estimating the storage requirements. I have also collaborated with Oracle Support and storage teams to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues.
