Worked as a backbone engineer for Cisco TAC, I used to work with Cisco\'s high profile clientele and relationship customers to help troubleshoot complex technical issues and bring them to resolution.Backbone TAC in Cisco is at the top of the support system hierarchy with focus on providing proficient solutions and resolving challenging issues. Our day to day activity involves working with the customer closely for a good understanding of the problem, collecting data for problem analysis and working with an entire range of Cisco\'s Business units to resolve the problem. This involves setting up a lab recreate to reproduce customer issues, finding and reporting defects to ease problem resolution. Our role also requires us to interact with Network Consulting Engineers and Software Engineers during the course of problem resolution.The key focus in our role is on product enhancement and feature intergration requests in newer releases which are triggered by customer interaction and collaboration with other business units.Our role is challenging on a daily basis and provides a good oppurtunity for customer interaction and to be directly involved in Cisco\'s change process.Specialties- Cisco ASA FTD, SourceFire, Identity Service Engine, Fortigate, IPSEC, Cisco Wireless, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Nexus, Anyconnect, Meraki, Cisco Prime-Security Assessments- Network sniffing and problem analysis using Wireshark- Expert level knowledge of following protocols IPv4, TCP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, Multicast, SMTP, IPSEC, SSL,
