About Ashish Kumar

I am a Research Scholar in the Department of Public Administration in Central University of Karnataka, working on Aspirational District Programme. I have been a Gandhi Fellow under Piramal Foundation. during these periods I have worked with Bhils of Jhabua District in Madhya Pradesh. I was a great experience during Gandhi Fellowship. Sharing emotions and learnings as a Gandhi Fellow, it can bring a separate book on it. I will definitely think to connect through that. I have completed my master\'s in Public Administration. During masters, I have worked at ground level for dissertation. During this, I have met around 50 people from Tribal Jharkhand to discuss the benefits of ICDS & impact of COVID-19 on the functioning of AWC. It was a great experience during my study of research methodology and real implications at grassroots. Then I have joined Institute for Human Development, Eastern Regional Center (ERC). It gave me another insight to work and exceptional learning with such social issues in society. In between, I have worked as a media coordinator and public management in a workshop namely called \'Launch of Food and Security Atlas of Jharkhand 2022\'. I had got opportunity to meet with great personality including Finance minister of Jharkhand, UNICEF Chief, Jean Dreze and many more eminent personality. Also, I have worked as a Coordinator of the workshop \'Non-Timber Forest Produce (NTFP). Which works on Increasing source of income of tribal people by connecting them to mainstream development by the use of their men and material. I have worked under Dr. Dev Nathan, an eminent economists and columnist in India. I have worked as \'Team Lead\' on the project,\'Understanding multidimensional poverty of Tana Bhagat community of Jharkhand\'. I have worked at the grassroots of Jharkhand.\'We have reached there where government is still struggling to bring road connectivity for the population\'\' and collected data for understanding the level of poverty.
