Research and analyze the latest and emerging threats, such as APTs, ransomware, zero-day exploits, and other sophisticated malware, and develop effective detection solutions for EDR MDE. • Test and validate new detection capabilities and techniques for EDR MDE using various tools. • Deploying and configuring EDR tools in test environment for simulation and testing of the product. • Performing proactive and reactive threat hunting and analysis using EDR data and other sources. • Maintain and update existing detection rules, policies, alerts IOA\'s, and dashboards for EDR MDE and ensure their accuracy and performance. • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs related to detection logic or performance and provide feedback for improvement. • Work on Client reported FN’s where EDR failed to detect and develop detection on those TTP’s. • Validate coverage and quality of IOA’s development and maintain its SNR. • Collaborate with other teams, threat researchers, engineers, analysts, and product managers to ensure the quality and effectiveness of EDR MDE and align with the business goals. • Mentor and guide junior threat research engineers and share best practices and knowledge. • Keep up with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity and EDR domains and incorporate them into detection solutions. • Develop and implement new processes to streamline the workflow process and enhance the efficiency of the team. • Creating and delivering comprehensive reports and presentations on EDR findings and recommendations. • Present the client with task updates along with challenges in weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews and address any queries or concerns. • Understand client needs and enable the team to deliver the same by assessing the strength and feasibility of the team. • Assist in the development and testing of tools used in our daily work to enhance team performance and provide ideas to automation team to develop and fix the bugs.
