Research engineering data of existing aircraft to determine design modifications required to meet customer specifications. Interface with HAECO\'s clients and present solutions in PDR and CDR reviews. Develop cost effective solutions, considering manufacturability, cost and lead time. Develop preliminary design to propose for approval. Develop design data for manufacturing of parts and installation of aircraft modification kits having metal, non-metal and composite parts. Required Modifications to primary and secondary structure. Support design validation with analysis done using hand calculations, make test setups and testing. Interface with substantiation group and DERs to ensure structural and systems integrity, and interior compliance criteria are met. Interface with procurement and vendors to source parts for integration kits; qualify new vendors and/or components for engineering solutions.
