Currently working as the Director Operations at the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), an International Organization (IO), a partnership of National Governments, UN agencies and Programmes, Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and financing mechanisms, the private sector, and knowledge institutions that aim to promote the resilience of new and existing infrastructure systems to climate and disaster risks in support of sustainable development. CDRI currently has a membership of 51 countries and 9 multilateral organizations and institutions.I have over 25 years of experience of leading Finance and Operations functions in complex international organizations, with a CPA Australia, CIMA qualification and CFE certification​.As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, I provide strategic leadership and insights to key organizational decision-making. My key strengths include; people management, operational effectiveness, delivering organizational & financial strategy, managing budgets/forecasts and reports to drive business growth, improving cost-efficiency, enhancing internal controls, promoting high level stewardship, business partnering with all stakeholders, coach & mentor team, rapidly-building consensus between disparate parties, on-board third-party partnerships, planning and executing several concurrent global projects, implementing innovative and simplified processes & best practices to establish fully integrated, high performing organization.I leverage my diverse subject expertise across Finance & Accounting, Grants, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management & Procurement, Information Technology, Corporate & Data Security, Administration & Logistics, Anti-corruption & Fraud, Legal, Compliances and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to build high-performance, fully integrated organizations. I also implement innovative cross-border best practices across different IOs, develop efficient processes and systems, and manage multiple concurrent projects and programs.CDRI has launched Infrastructure for Resilient Island States (IRIS), a dedicated initiative that aims to support Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in achieving sustainable development through a systematic approach to resilient, sustainable, and inclusive infrastructure through Infrastructure Resilience Accelerator Fund (IRAF), a US$50 Million Trust Fund managed by the United Nation Multi Donor Trust Fund (UN MPTF). I have a strong track record of managing bilateral and multilateral grants from various donors.
