Reviewing the maintenance/ operational practices, identifying the areas of obstruction/ failures and advising on system and process changes for qualitative improvement and energy conservation.• Planning & implementing the preventive & predictive maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes. Implementing preventive maintenance programmes to improve the efficiency of the system or the equipment undergoing maintenance.• Preparing & monitoring of Engineering & Logistic budgets and responsible for generation, costs and inventory control.• Executing projects for construction, site management, expansion, modernization, installation & commissioning of equipment. • Managing activities right from the conceptualization stage to the execution; involving finalization of technical specifications, tendering, procurement, scheduling, progress monitoring, erection, testing & commissioning, site management, manpower planning. Ensuring execution of activities / projects within time & budgetary parameters.• Directing & instructing maintenance technicians; monitoring expenses with optimum utilization of resources.
