About Ashim Dhor

I am a final year BS-MS student in Data Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal.I work on deep learning for medical imaging - specifically on making models reliable enough for real clinical use. My research spans medical image segmentation, uncertainty quantification, vision-language models, multimodal LLMs, and multi-agent systems.I got into this because I wanted to build things that actually matter. And it doesn\'t get more meaningful than building AI that a clinician can trust - something that tells you not just what it sees, but how confident it is about what it sees.I have worked across CT scans, MRI, whole slide images, and cancer histopathology — on Head and Neck, Breast, Lung, and Ovarian Cancer in collaboration with clinicians at AIIMS Bhopal, Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital and Research Centre and Gandhi Medical College Bhopal.So far this journey has taken me to some places I am proud of publications at ISBI, and MIDL 2026.I am always open to collaborating, discussing research, or just talking about ideas. 1. Qworld Quantum Science Days 2023

   Qworld

   May 2023 — Present

   Attended the QWorld Quantum Science Days 2023 (QSD 2023), a premier scientific meeting organized by QWorld (Association). It was an event that brought together the quantum community from around the world to present and discuss their groundbreaking research results. The Thematic Session focused on \"Building an Open Quantum Ecosystem,\" while Classiq showcased practical quantum applications in their demo session. The Career Talk provided valuable insights for working in the quantum field. It was an incredible experience that expanded my knowledge and network.
