As the Director – Global Business Operations & Customer Engagement at Clarivate, I lead end-to-end delivery and client engagement for global IP service portfolios, including telecom, government-aligned verticals and drafting and illustration services. Responsible for designing & implementing customized solutions to help clients in building high-value patent portfolios, mitigating IP related risks, effectively monetising IP and using IP as a reliable tool to aid in defining business/R&D strategy. My role involves driving operational strategy across geographies, ensuring delivery alignment (dedicated/transactional accounts), performance management and seamless stakeholder integration across India, EMEA and North America.I provide strategic leadership to large, cross-functional teams, managing the full delivery lifecycle from planning and execution to margin optimisation and capability enhancement. I am also the site lead representative for India operations driving key initiatives such as hybrid workplace strategy, office expansion, cultural enablement and enterprise training frameworks. My work focuses on advancing business transformation post-acquisition, scaling high-growth verticals and embedding a customer-centric approach across delivery.I also lead internal transformation efforts, including the development of a jurisdiction-based IP collaboration platform to enhance global interaction between internal teams and external legal partners. Additionally, I lead the process effectiveness initiative for the research and analytics division, streamlining operations, reducing losses and strengthening demand-capacity alignment across delivery functions.Working with a self-driven and motivated team which includes a lot of highly talented & diversely experienced engineers/PhDs in various disciplines of science. Work with HR to define career paths and creation of opportunities for team members for achieving professional growth - coaching them on building cohesive team.
