ABOUT ASHEER RAHMAN

Asheer Rahman is a impact entrepreneur, and sustainability strategist with experience across the UK, US, MENA, Japan, and Europe. As the Founding Partner of HKX Capital, a London-based venture capital firm, he has led investments in finance, construction, health, and climate-focused technology.His passion for climate action stems from witnessing frequent floods in his homeland, driving him to develop market-driven solutions for sustainability. Asheer played a key role in New York\'s first wave of stewardship engagement, working with pension funds through Mark Labs, and co-chaired Carbon Pricing at the Institute of Faculty of Actuaries. He pioneered a blockchain-based carbon offsetting startup in the UK, recognized by Niti Aayog, and expanded ultra-low-carbon innovations into Saudi Arabia and the GCC. His research on non-financial capital value creation led to a presentation at Columbia University, Carbon removal governance in oxford University. Asheer also founded Impact Roots a nonprofit that has empowered students worldwide. He is an alumnus of VC Lab, Startupbootcamp Australia, and FinTech Innovation Lab New York.
