Responsibilities Include:Teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students.Reflective Learning Centre curriculum champion. AI tools ambassador. Year 11 Saturday school Tutor. Year 11 Easter Intervention Tutor. Co-lead of KS3 Science club. Developing of schemes of learning and assessments at KS3 and KS4. Analysis of student attainment and strategies to promote progress. Attending and application of CPD in lessons to ensure high-performance learning. CPDs attended include subject specific and targeted CPD for specific groups of students such as those with ASC, EAL and SEMH needs. Working with the Science team to raise awareness among students of the multitude of science-based careers. Form tutor responsiblilities which include discussing and supporting students to improve their understanding of historical and current events as well as communication with Year Manager and parents/guardians to support these pupils during and outside of lessons.Supporting early careers teacher CPD to help ECTs and Trainee Teachers navigate the challenges of their role.(2022)Supporting Debating Club to help students develop their skills to make stronger arguments.(2023)
