Research SEC rules, changes to disclosure requirements and accounting codifications and apply to company’s current state and stage. • Prepare annual and quarterly SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, 8-K and ensure documents filed comply with SEC and PCAOB rules. • Utilize US GAAP in order to evaluate legal agreements as they are entered into and prepare technical accounting memos to assess accounting impact. • Create SOX control documentation and narratives for all in-scope financial cycles of the Company. • Monitor company’s internal control compliance by providing employees involved with training, when areas of non-compliance are identified, assist Company in performing remediating actions and identify financial risk to the Company and determine how to address. • Manage audit deliverables and work with company’s accounting team to prepare models for accounting estimates, estimating accruals, and performing equity valuations such as Black Scholes. • Assist the company with any tax-related matters as needed.
