With over 20 years of experience in the media industry, I have cultivated a deep understanding of market dynamics, evolving customer needs, and the emerging technologies shaping the media landscape. My expertise lies in launching and scaling OTT/D2C platforms, securing and retaining multiyear contracts, managing large delivery teams, excellent people management skills and being advocate for strategic partnerships and IP’s with C-suite stakeholders across the media value chain. Key milestones in my career include: 1. Spearheading the launch of the world’s first Android Set-Top Box with Airtel. Playing a pivotal role in incubating and launching marquee platforms such as Hotstar, Zee5, Voot, and SonyLIV. Receiving recognition from Mr. N. Chandrasekaran for driving OTT innovation at Tata. Being honored as a pioneering woman in media by the Media & Entertainment Association. Leading product management, feature integration, user experience, and go-to-market strategies for Connected TV and device ecosystems. Managing strategic accounts and product partnerships with Apple, Google, and major CTV players — including performance tracking, product co-innovation (organic features and monetization models), and roadmap alignment. Driving App Store and CTV-specific product management, including feature-enabled marketing, MAU/DAU performance tracking via partner development portals, analyzing user loss patterns and root causes, and enabling business and marketing teams to act on insights to improve user retention. Reported to C-suite leadership on IP strategy, innovation branding, and high-visibility marketing efforts across global media forums such as IBC, NAB, and APOS. Actively managing hyperscaler partnerships and representing the organization at key developer and AI events like Apple WWDC, Google I/O, AWS, Google, Roku, and Microsoft summits. Also responsible for evaluating joint performance and co-innovation outcomes with hyperscaler cloud partners and ISVs. Additionally, I serve as an advisory board member of RiseIndia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and mentoring women in the media industry. Passionate about driving strategic growth and innovation in the OTT/D2C space.
