About Asha Anand
I received my undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in 2012 and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2015. In 2018 I became Board Certified as a Sports Physical Therapy Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists, and certified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Association of Strength and Conditioning. I am currently licensed in California, Colorado, and Mississippi, with a particular interest in sports medicine and a holistic approach to rehabilitation. Since graduating, I have worked with both high school and collegiate level athletes from a variety of sports. My interest in professional development and academic growth have allowed me to present both nationally and internationally on physical therapy and functional movement assessment as well as injury prevention. I am interested in continuing to treat athletes as well as implement a mind-body approach to wellness and rehabilitation. I enjoy continuing to learn and grow in my knowledge of sports physical therapy to optimally treat all types of athletes, and to promote health and wellness in all populations.
