ABOUT ASH ROSALES
Hi! My name is Ash and I am a third year Microbiology and Immunology major at UC Irvine. I am a UCLEADS scholar and excited to move towards higher education! I am currently an undergraduate researcher in the Briscoe Lab working on the genetics of butterfly opsins. I have gained experience/trained others in traditional genetic techniques such as PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, CRISPR/Cas9 and more. I would love to apply this experience I have in genetics towards immunology focused research roles on the gut microbiome!
