ABOUT ASEEM CHAPHALKAR
I have about 10 years of research experience in various domains of biology- protein biochemistry being the predominant one. I have worked on biosensors, sickle cell anemia, and bacterial proteostasis. My PhD thesis investigates the determinants of thermal stability of complex protein mixtures. Small research projects with clear objectives and short duration suit me the best. I am a big believer in interdisciplinary research.Apart from research, I am also passionate about teaching and communicating science. I have written a book about genomics in Marathi, and I enjoy writing science fiction stories, also in Marathi.My current passion project is to experiment with different teaching styles, involving the latest AI tools such as ChatGPT.
