About Abigail Schroff
I am a fourth-year student at John Carroll University currently working towards a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and Peace, Justice, and Human Rights with minors in Chemistry, Sociology/Criminology and Bioethics. My interests include Genetics, Public Health, Bioethics, Social Justice and Advocacy. I am driven by my love for learning and embrace all opportunities to obtain knowledge on a subject, as well participate in new inquires through research and data collection/analysis. I also am a student-athlete, participating on both John Carroll\'s Cross Country and Track teams. As an active member of John Carroll\'s Arrupe Scholars program, I am dedicated to studying and combatting Social Justice issues. Outside of my academic involvements and passions, I have research and genetic experience from my position at Nationwide Children\'s Hospital as the Genetic Counseling and Research Intern. I have also gained valuable skills relating to empathy, patience and collaboration through my positions at Fleet Feet Sports and 7 Cups. After receiving my Bachelor’s in Science at John Carroll, I intend to pursue a Masters in Genetic Counseling.
