Asato Kitamura is from Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan. In March 2018, he graduated from Tokyo Mode Gakuen Advanced Diploma Course and won a school-sponsored study abroad scholarship to Paris, London and Milan. He then enrolled in Parsons School MFA Fashion Design and Society in 2020.In graduate school, Kitamura devoted himself to Freud\'s and Nietzsche\'s philosophies, delving into personal experiences and exploring trauma and imperfection through the lens of fashion.
