Asa began his human resources career within the civilian sector of the United States Coast Guard in 2004, and worked his way up, becoming an essential leader within the human resources team. In 2014 he concluded his Federal service and moved to the private sector to work for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital located in Washington, DC. Upon completing his tenure with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital he relocated to New York City to work for Con Edison. Asa currently works for Tapestry (formerly Coach Inc.) in New York City. Asa has expertise in Organizational Design and Development, Strategic Partnering, Strategic Planning, Leadership Coaching, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Workforce Planning, Talent Management, HRIS, Talent Acquisitions, Integration and RIFs.
