At present, I work in the Climate Finance department at IFC, the private-sector arm of The World Bank. My work is primarily occupied with the assessment of cross-sectoral investments for climate risk, GHG accounting, green bonds/finance, and client ESG frameworks. This work involves several tasks including: 1. Confirming that energy efficiency, hazards, mitigation/adaptation, performance of buildings and infrastructure meet standards2. Coordinating with investment teams to ensure projects meet institutional decarbonization, development, and resilience goals. I am the GIS specialist for the team, responsible for all tasks involving the development and management of geospatial data, systems, tools, and output products for the climate finance team. I specialize in flood risk data analysis involving climate projections for real estate, transportation, energy, manufacturing, and municipal finance. Help with the development of presentations, guidance documents and benchmarking exercises to support adaptation and resilience goals.
