Hi, I\'m Aryana Altaha, an Iranian American in Scottsdale, Arizona.    Youngest speaker at TEDxFolsom, recognized among the top 15% of TEDx events worldwide; Selected from 180+ applicants, spoke in front of 700+ people & featured on numerous publications such as ABC, Folsom Times, and FOX. Many children of immigrants have higher rates of untreated mental illness due to language, economic, & cultural barriers. In my speech, I shared how vulnerability is key to mental health improvement, how first-generation immigrants are significantly less likely to be vulnerable because of these barriers, the implications of that, my personal experience, & provided two scientifically-proven processes to safely practice emotional vulnerability. My TEDx talk amassed over views (a number received by 0.07% of talks) on the official TEDx YouTube channel. Selected as a TED\'s Editor\'s Pick.
