Vivekananda School of Economics was established in 2017 under the leadership of Dr. S C Vats, Chairman, VIPS. Since its inception, VSE has been working to nourish young minds and impart quality and contemporary education under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Anuradha Jain, Dean, Vivekananda School of Economics. Vivekananda School of Economics currently offers a 3 year undergraduate program in B.A.(Hons.) Economics. Over the three years, the students not only get an in-depth knowledge about Economics and its relevance in the real world, but they are also nurtured to be ready for the corporate world with a special focus on Econometrics and Data Analysis using Statistical Packages (like R and STATA). The Placement and Guidance Cell at VSE provides assistance to students and elevate their ability to think out of the box. We operate around the year to facilitate contact between companies and graduates to ensure an efficient and hassle free bridge between the two. The cell aims to provide students with holistic development through career growth-oriented approach. Organizing Placement Drives, Skill enhancement sessions, Conducting Workshops and Seminars are amongst the various endeavours that the cell progresses while catering to the upskilling of the students. We also lay stress on promoting entrepreneurship awareness among students. We invite recruiters to visit and recruit from our pool of students pursuing B.A Economics (Hons) who are looking forward to exciting and challenging job opportunities.
