I am currently pursuing a technical internship at High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), Pune, a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), specializing in research and development of high-energy materials for defense applications. Through this internship, I am gaining exposure to the formulation, characterization, and testing of energetic materials such as propellants and explosives. I am developing practical understanding of combustion behavior,sensitivity testing, and mechanical property evaluation under controlled laboratory conditions. The experience is strengthening my knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, material science, and propulsion systems, while also familiarizing me with strict safety protocols, quality assurance procedures, and technical documentation practices followed in strategic defense research environments.
