Project: E-Genie – Unified Campaign Optimization DashboardDescription:E-Genie is a unified marketing dashboard used by platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, Zepto, Blinkit, and Bajaj Ads. It provides real-time campaign performance metrics, including demographic and geographic data, to help optimize ad spend and increase ROI across multiple marketplaces.Responsibilities: • Analyzed Jira stories, reviewed acceptance criteria, and created detailed test plans and test cases. • Performed end-to-end manual testing for UI components, filters, and analytics across web browsers. • Built Playwright automation scripts using JavaScript with Page Object Model (POM) for maintainable regression testing. • Used Postman to test REST APIs (GET/POST), validating data sync and campaign performance metrics. • Queried MySQL/PostgreSQL databases to verify backend data accuracy against the frontend dashboard. • Logged and tracked defects in Jira, collaborating with developers for timely fixes before sprint closure. • Participated in daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies to align with developers and BAs. • Maintained QA reports, sprint trackers, and updated test execution records regularly. • Integrated automated tests into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to ensure early bug detection and faster releases.Tech Stack Used: • Playwright (JavaScript): For automating regression/smoke test cases using modern async/await syntax and POM structure. • Postman: For validating API responses, schemas, and status codes during backend testing. • SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL): For writing queries to validate real-time campaign and analytics data. • GitHub Actions: For running automated test suites on each commit/PR as part of CI/CD. • Jira: For managing tasks, user stories, defect tracking, and QA documentation. • Agile/Scrum: Involved in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews.
