Serving as the Vice Chair for the UNICEF Committee at the 8th Edition of SCIMUN (Scindia Model United Nations) hosted by The Scindia School, Gwalior. In this role, I assist in moderating committee proceedings, guiding delegates through structured debate and parliamentary procedure, and ensuring productive deliberations on global challenges related to child welfare, development economics, and sustainable policy frameworks.Drawing upon my experience in previous Model United Nations conferences and my academic interest in economics and finance, I contribute to facilitating discussions that examine the economic dimensions of humanitarian policy, resource allocation, and global development strategies. The position reflects my continued engagement with international affairs, policy analysis, and financial perspectives within multilateral decision-making simulations.
ABOUT ARYAN BHAGAT
Over the past three academic years (Class 9–11), my journey has been shaped by purposeful leadership, skill-building, and a growing interest in Economics and Finance. Through Business Management, I have undertaken leadership roles that have substantially strengthened my managerial, strategic, and entrepreneurial capabilities. As Secretary of the Business Bee Society, I oversee the day-to-day business operations and institutional initiatives within the school ecosystem, ensuring structured planning, coordination, and efficient execution. In my capacity as Outreach Head for a school-organized Business Fest, I managed external communications, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement, sharpening my negotiation, networking, and relationship-management skills. Complementing these responsibilities, my involvement in the Young CEO Programme allowed me to conceptualize and work toward launching my own product, providing hands-on exposure to market research, consumer analysis, cost structuring, pricing strategy, revenue planning, and financial sustainability. This experience deepened my understanding of market dynamics and strategic growth, while strengthening my ability to evaluate financial feasibility, allocate resources effectively, and make data-driven decisions that balance innovation with long-term economic viability. Collectively, these experiences reflect a strong foundation in leadership, operations management, and sustainable business development.Community Service, particularly the Ladakh Service Project, deepened my awareness of inequality, grassroots development, and the role of economic policy in social impact. Public Speaking through Model United Nations, G20 Summits, and debates—earning Best Delegate awards—refined my analytical thinking, diplomacy, and data-driven argumentation. As a state-level Table Tennis player, I developed discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking under pressure. Finally, my work in Publishing as a Student and Creative Editor enhanced my research, writing, and analytical evaluation skills. Collectively, these experiences have solidified my aspiration to pursue Economics and Finance to understand markets, policy, and sustainable growth.
