At Vaccine Genie, I engineered and launched a real-time feedback and discussion portal, building a React/TypeScript front end that streams data to Python FastAPI microservices so clinicians can capture user sentiment instantly, slashing support turnaround from days to minutes. I introduced secure, self-service onboarding by integrating Firebase Auth, Firestore, and Python/Node.js services to auto-provision linked patient-and-family profiles, eliminating manual setup while maintaining HIPAA-compliant data segregation. I also designed and shipped SMART-on-FHIR–compliant immunization APIs—extending Vaccine, Immunization, and Patient resources with custom schedules and decision-support logic—and exposed cloud-hosted endpoints that drop seamlessly into partner EHR systems. To cap it off, I spearheaded cross-platform feature parity, collaborating daily with iOS and Android teams on shared API contracts and UI patterns, and delivered 100% consistency between web and mobile experiences one sprint ahead of schedule.
