ABOUT ARYAAN CHOWDHURY
Medical Student with early interests in ortho/plastic surgery as well as internal medicine like cardiology/oncology.Outside of medicine, I feel I’m a passionate musician. Playing and teaching piano, singing, and guitar. Music has been a constant parallel to my academic journey, requiring discipline, consistency and an attention to analytic detail. I believe the process of trying to master complex pieces and performing under pressure closely mirrors the skills required in both medical AND surgical practice.Despite having never held a racquet before starting university, I\'ve found love for tennis through being a member of Medics Tennis and now part of the committee. I’ve enjoyed representing my med school in matches whilst event planning for socials and sessions. I feel like this progression shows my aptitude for skill acquisition, deliberate practice, and performing reliably in high pressure, teamworking environments.
