About Arya Banait
I’m a second year undergraduate student at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, with a strong interest in the intersection of health economics, pharmaceutical science and data- driven decision making in healthcare. My academic and career focus is on pharmacoeconomics- understanding how drugs and therapies impact not only health outcomes but also healthcare systems, costs and policies. I hope to pursue a masters in health economics and eventually work in the pharmaceutical industry where data and innovation shape access to medicine.To prepare for this path, I have been actively building skills in health policy, statistics and economic evaluation and learning tools like R to work with healthcare data. I’m currently looking to explore research projects, or internships that allow me to apply these interests in real-world settings- especially those that are examine pharmaceutical pricing, value-based care or policy impact.I’m eager to connect with others who share an interest in leveraging economics and data-driven strategies to improve healthcare systems. I’m enthusiastic about learning from others’ experiences while contributing my own insights.
