About Arya Aishwarya

A designer, architect and researcher by profession, writer and photographer by passion, I am forever a student at heart. Culture, technology and people are my favorite subjects and I seek to connect them through my work in architecture and computational design. Over the last few years my research interests have transitioned from core architectural practices to interactive and kinetic architecture, generative processes and building socially intelligent creative spaces. I aspire to take this ahead and transform objects and places into a unique solution that respond to human needs. I completed Master of design with a major in computational design from CEPT, university. Experienced in designing and planning workplace interiors based on algorithmic thinking, facade design for residential bungalows and office complexes, pavilion for recreational spaces, prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client, experienced in generating a plethora of design options on grasshopper/rhino. Have supervised projects from detail drawings, technical aspects, props creation to production and site implementation. My experience has made me adept to work on stringent timelines, by prioritizing the line ups one by one and handling the pressure efficiently. My effective communication skills have helped me work in harmony with not only my team leaders, but have also came handy in training fresh graduates/ interns. I have studied and experimented ways of juxtaposing architecture and sustainability, using energy analysis with expertise in Active and Passive design building strategies, thermal comfort analysis with respect to energy evaluation and emissions, climate responsive architecture. I believe in the Power or Learning, Imbibing and Adapting at any stage of life. I am a Meticulous, pragmatic, positive and an enthusiastic person. Living with a zeal to learn and grow, Holding a prolific knowledge and work participation with 6 years of experience.
