About Arvind Mohan
I am an engineer at Q-State Biosciences primarily working on the Design,Assembly,Upgrades and Quality Control (QC) of the high throughput Firefly microscope to do drug discovery for neural disorders using all-optical electrophysiology. My passion is to combine my knowledge of optics,electronics, mechanical engineering and bioengineering to make this world a better place. Previously worked as a graduate researcher in Dr. Bryan Spring\'s Lab in Northeastern University for the development of an optic fiber and PZT based microendoscope used for video-rate imaging applications inside the body. I was also involved in the development of a Low-cost LED array based setup for PDT (PhotoDynamicTherapy) used to selectively activate photosensitizers for treatment of ovarian cancer patients. I am a recipient of the Poster of Excellence (Top 10) Award for the poster presentation in the International Photodynamic Association (IPA) World Congress 2019 held in Cambridge,Massachusetts.
