ABOUT ARVINDER BRAR

I am a software engineering leader with 20+ years of experience. I currently serve as Vice President of Software Engineering at Kaleris. My work centers on building and scaling enterprise software that powers global supply chains, with a particular focus on our flagship Terminal Operating System (TOS) used to manage marine terminals.I thrive on solving complex challenges and driving innovation that improves operational efficiency, resilience, and safety across critical supply chain nodes. I have been involved in large-scale modernization initiatives — to efficiently and optimally handle cargo operations with advancing cargo ship capacities and new automated handling equipment to integrating with host of next-generation technologies and systems.As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes industries, I am particularly interested in exploring its potential to augment human capabilities in logistics. My focus is on identifying high-impact applications where AI can make terminal operations safer, more efficient, and more productive — enabling people on the ground to work smarter, not harder, and ensuring technology is a partner rather than a replacement.Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, traveling and reading about history, society and tech, which keep me energized and creative in my professional journey.
