About Arvind Singh

I am pursuing PGDM/MBA in Operations & Supply Chain Management from SPJIMR, Mumbai. I hold a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur. I was also a former student of IIT Madras in the M.Tech programme (Thermal Engineering). I worked as an Engineer/Officer for 2.5 years at NTPC limited which is a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of power, Government of India. Before that I worked with Jindal Stainless where I served major leadership roles in 3 ongoing erection and commissioning projects at HSM department of JSL Jajpur. I aim to make my academic experience rich in business acumen along with my engineering knowledge that I have gained through my 2.5 years of work experience in steel manufacturing (JSL) and power sector (NTPC Ltd). I have always been a winner at workplace & possess excellent records in academics as well. I have proved my merit in various competitive examinations like JEE, GATE, CAT with outstanding scores in all three. On 26th January 2024, I was awarded \"Business Unit Head\" merit award by the Executive Director of NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana for my contributions towards handling a major technical emergency in a 500MW unit that took place in Dec, 2023. In December 2023, I had received an appreciation letter from the General Manager, O&M of NTPC Ramagundam for preventing the tripping of another 500MW unit.
