I am a sales & marketing professional with more than 15 years of leadership experience across brand building, brand development, P&L management and sales & distribution. I currently head marketing at Dairy Day, a PE-funded regional leader in the ice cream category, with an exciting charter to build the marketing function & lead the brand to becoming one of the top 4 players nationally.Prior to this, I served as CMO at Licious, India’s first D2C unicorn, with my remit extending across category & brand management, with responsibility for revenue, P&L, category & brand initiatives.I consider Unilever to be my alma mater, where I spent more than 13 years across sales & marketing roles, with extensive experience across FMCG categories. In my last role with HUL, I served as a Marketing Director, where I led brand building for Skin Cleansing liquids (bodywash, handwash, intimate washes) & regional brands, brand development for our regional portfolio (Hamam, Indulekha, Liril) as well as leading the eCommerce channel for the category.I have a proven track record of delivering competitive and profitable growth for diverse consumer segments and markets, with exposure across traditional FMCG & D2C marketing.
