Client: Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttar Pradesh & Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF)As part of the Agriculture Technical Support Unit (TSU), supported the implementation of the Beej Bandhu Yojana and strengthening of seed value chains across the Purvanchal region. Led capacity-building for seed growers and FPOs, field demonstrations with KVKs, and integration of mushrooms into the Mid-Day Meal scheme. Facilitated onboarding of agri-tech startups to the UPFPO Shakti Portal and supported SAUs in incubation center development, DPRs, and registration. Enabled FPOs to access funding, market linkages, and agri-licenses, while also conducting value chain gap assessments across four districts in Uttar Pradesh. As a result of these efforts, two FPOs from Bahraich District- Shiva Agro FPC and Udhyami Mahila FPC were awarded 3rd rank in 2024 and 1st rank in 2025 respectively in the State FPO Grading Awards.
