Was earlier Chief Operating Officer for Walmart India overseeing all functions - Buying & Merchandising, Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, eCommerce and Store Planning. As part of this role, conceptualised and set-up Walmart\'s Cash and Carry business in India (“Best Price”) & successfully scaled it up to more than $600 million sales in 2013.\"Best Price\" business was a runaway success in India with the Lucknow store winning the prestigious \"BEST STORE IN WALMART INTERNATIONAL\" award for CY 2013 - ahead of stores in 25 countries.Prior to Walmart, was CMO for Yum! South Asia & played a key role in successful re-entry of KFC in India in 2005 (after the initial debacle in 1990s leading to KFC shutting shop in India).
