Brought in to recover and course-correct a stalled, high-risk enterprise modernization program (“Modern Desktop”) spanning Microsoft 365 platform transformation, large-scale SharePoint and database migrations, Microsoft Teams (including voice), and enterprise Purview information governance for future state AI enablements. Led a cross-functional delivery organization of ~40 resources across Business Analysis, Organizational Change Management, Solution Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Data, and Service Operations, including two external vendors with dedicated Project Managers reporting directly to me. Accountable for end-to-end program stabilization, governance reset, delivery forecasting, and vendor management. Performed deep technical and operational reviews of legacy and proposed designs, identified material gaps, and led a multi-phase redesign that established a new enterprise standard for how Teams and SharePoint are structured, governed, and secured. Central to the redesign was the implementation of Microsoft Purview sensitivity and retention labeling, enabling secure, compliant collaboration at scale while preserving usability across the organization. Applied advanced, data-driven analysis of enterprise content usage, ownership patterns, source-to-target mappings, retention obligations, and network throughput to define realistic stage gates, delivery timelines, and cost forecasts—capabilities that did not previously exist within the program.
