ABOUT ARUSYAK ZAKARYAN
I am an Assistant Professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management. My research interests lie at the intersection of strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. My current work focuses on organizational learning from successes (e.g. breakthrough inventions) and failures (e.g. product recalls) in innovation and operational activities. I am further interested in uncovering conditions under which near-misses or near failures provide learning benefits. I study these issues in several knowledge and innovation intensive industries, such as Pharmaceuticals, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Photographic industry. I teach Strategy and Innovation at graduate level.
